On Campus: Students and staff members dressed up. The Professional Studies Sector also put on a BBQ Cook-Out for all Business, Communications, and Accounting majors. It made for some great eats!

Oahana Time: My family passed out candy and did some pumpkin carving! There’s a pumpkin patch on the West side of the island in Kapolei where we get our pumpkins from. It’s a great family bonding time. After we were done carving we put all the pumkpins out side-by-side and watched them all glow in the night as we ate baked pumpkin seeds for a late night snack.

ResLife: I took my residents on a program to the Haunted Plantation. It was SO SCARY and SO MUCH FUN! After getting scared out of our minds we got some breakfast-for-dinner at Anna Millers.

Friends: This year I went to Waikiki to hang with friends. It is one of the most popular things to do on the island for Halloween. We get all dressed up and walk the Waikiki strip to see all the creative costumes people have. The event starts at around 9:30pm and goes till midnight. You know you have a GREAT costume when someone stops you and asks to take a picture with you. I got my picture taken twice :] It’s always a really crowded event, but it’s all in good fun.
