Chaminade Life from a Student's Perspective.
Maunawili Falls!
Last weekend I took some of my residents to my favorite hiking spot on the island of Oahu, Maunawili Falls! The trail is about 1.5miles in with beautiful waterfalls at the end. It took about an hour to hike to the waterfalls. The trail itself has beautiful views of nearby Kailua, as well as the Koolau Mountain Range. At the end of the trail, there are cliffs you can jump off into the waterfall’s pool. A couple of my residents and myself dared to jump off a 40-50ft cliff into the deep pool below. It was a great way to experience to beauty of Hawaii and a fun way to learn about know my fellow students at Chaminade. Thanks to my awesome resident, Erin, for the pictures!
