New! DON’T BE A ‘CUT-THROUGH’ DRIVER
Mornings are a very busy time in Honolulu and around our campus. Traffic at the 3rd Avenue & Waialae intersection can get backed-up to Harding and is made worse by cars “CUTTING-THROUGH” the Subway/L&L or St. Louis Drive-In parking lots to get to 3rd Avenue in order to cross Waialae on their way to school. CUT-THROUGH drivers cause more congestion at a busy intersection, creating a safety problem for pedestrians and other drivers. Please help us keep the area safe for everyone. DON’T BE A ‘CUT-THROUGH’ DRIVER! From the shared campus communities of Saint Louis School, Marianist Hawaii Center and Chaminade University, mahalo!
SPECIAL NOTE: This week, student bloggers from the Marianist Universities (Chaminade, St. Mary’s and Dayton) write about their experiences during a Los Angeles Urban Immersion trip on the blog “Marianist University Collaboration, LA 2012.” Check out Chaminade first-year student Anthony Selvanathan’s posts. Same 5 Ws, but also need correct name spellings and position with Chaminade (for students, year and major if possible). Photos need complete name ids as well as who took photo. During the summer, the Campus News is on a hiatus schedule of once a month.
