Children’s Literature Hawai‘i, along with the Hawai‘i Council for the Humanities, Chaminade University, and the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa present the Sixteenth Biennial conference on literature and Hawai‘i’s children, “Where Pictures Speak and Stories Paint.” Two days of the conference will be held at Chaminade’s Ching Conference Center, in Eiben Hall, June 22-23, 2012. Special guests are children’s book author Pam Munoz Ryan and local author/illustrator James Rumford.
