HONOLULU–Monday, July 2, 2012
Today, starting at 11:45 a.m., Chaminade University will begin testing its emergency alert system. There will be multiple test messages sent via InformaCast to campus phones, campus computers and individual mobile phones which have previously subscribed to the system. The series of multiple test messages will check for proper linkage of messages to the system. There are 13 individual message links that will need to be tested.
In addition, testing of the high power speak array (a.k.a. public address system), blog, mass emails and home web page, which are normally held on the first working day of the month, are also scheduled for today.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you in advance for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact email@example.com or Thomas.Payne@chaminade.edu . Updates will also be posted on www.chaminade.edu
