Chaminade University received a $10,000 grant from ABC Stores for tuition subsidies 2012 Summer Bridge students. Fourteen students will benefit from ABC Stores’ generosity.

The Summer Bridge program helps incoming students transition into college and has helped to improve university retention and graduation rates.  The program offers classes to conditionally admitted students and is designed to prepare incoming freshmen, especially those from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds to successfully transition through their first year of college. Students learn and hone important academic, cognitive, social and leadership skills that will serve them well during their critical freshman year and beyond.
