CHARLES DICKENS’ “A CHRISTMAS CAROL” JUMP-STARTS HOLIDAYS– OPENING THIS FRIDAY
The Chaminade University Performing Arts Department will present from Nov. 9-18A Christmas Carol,” a play based on Charles Dickens’ timeless classic. Performances are in the Loo Theatre in Clarence TC Ching Hall. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 10, and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14-17; and at 3 p.m. on Sundays, Nov.11 and 18Admission is only $5, but seating is limited. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Humanities Office in Henry Hall (room 206A). Call (808) 735-4827 for information.

NEW!  FOOD FOR FINES
The library will exchange food for fines in support of the Thanksgiving food drive. Donate your cans of food (unopened, unexpired), and the library will take $2 off of your fines for each can accepted (up to $20.00).  Canned goods will be accepted as payment of library fines only from November 5 thru 25.

THANKSGIVING DAY FUNDRAISER FOR HOMELESS KEIKI

Sat, Nov. 10 from 10:30am to 3:00pm (OR a single shift from 10:30-12:30 or 1:00-3:00)

WHY:
Helping homeless keiki and families have Thanksgiving meal.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Fish netting for donations and promoting Project Hawaii’s cause of trying to help the homeless keiki of the Waianae coast.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Community service/service learning papers, comfortable clothing and shoes, sunscreen (will be available at event site)
