The Kaimuki business and Professional Association (KBPA) and the KBPA Foundation will honor Chaminade University at its 66th annual Kaimuki Christmas Parade, this Thursday, Dec. 6, for the important role the university has played in the Kaimuki community for years, as well as for its part as a gracious co-host to the neighborhood’s annual Christmas Parade. Officials have invited Chaminade president, Bro. Bernard Ploeger, SM, to be the parade’s grand marshal.

It will start at St. Louis HS/Chaminade University grounds, to Waialae Ave., to Koko Head Ave., to end at Municipal Parking Lot. WHERE: Waialae Ave entrance & Oval area initial gathering area; 2nd row also used for parade vehicles
WHAT: Annual neighborhood parade on Waialae Avenue starts at Chaminade/Saint Louis Waialae entrance; parade participants begin to gather about 4 pm
WHO: All welcome to join Campus Ministry parade contingent (meet at 5 pm in Oval)

PLEASE NOTE: Parade parking and traffic adjustments will affect night as well as day students, faculty, adjunct and staff members. Adjustments include:
- Parking limited to 3rd row and upper campus only after 3pm
- Restricted campus access beginning at 4 pm
- No parking around the oval starting 4 pm
- Waialae Ave. main entrance closes at 5:30 pm.
- Kaimanaka Gate to open for 2-way traffic starting 4 pm
- All access and parking should be back to normal by 7:30 pm
