New! KE ALI’I PAUAHI FOUNDATION COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
WHEN: Deadline to apply: March 22, for 2013-2014 academic year
WHO: Ke Ali‘i Pauahi Foundation’s policy gives preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry
to the extent permitted by law.
WHAT: Ke Ali‘i Pauahi Foundation administers scholarships that have been created by private donors.  They award scholarships supporting college level areas of study, as well as trade and vocational courses.  Awards may be determined based on merit, while some are restricted for those students who demonstrate a financial need or for students applying from specific geographic regions.

New! SHIRE 2013 ADHD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
WHEN: Deadline to apply: March 27
WHO: Individuals in the United States diagnosed with
WHAT: The program is for individuals in the United States diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who are pursuing higher education at a college, vocational school or technical school. Since the start of the program in 2011, Shire has announced 75 national scholarship award recipients and 10 employee award recipients.

Update! CHAMINADE’S NEW ONLINE MBA EXPANDS OPTIONS FOR STUDENTS
WHEN: MBA Program accepts student four times per year, year-round.
Currently accepting applications for Spring Term (April-June); Students applying between Feb.1 and March 1 will have application fees waived
WHO: All students may take online MBA classes.
WHAT: Chaminade has recently launched its Online MBA program to enable students to earn their MBA without ever setting foot in a classroom. This option can be ideal for students who are working while going to school, located on a neighbor island, or in the military. By taking two classes each term, the program can be completed in as little as 18 months.

KS’ KĀPILI ‘OIHANA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
WHEN: Application deadline, Feb. 22; Internships starts May 20 and are until Aug. 9
WHO: KĀPILI ‘OIHANA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (KOIP) is open to all eligible applicants that are 18 years or older and currently enrolled in college.
WHAT: Kāpili `Oihana, meaning “to build a career or profession,” strives to provide Native Hawaiian college students with the opportunity to apply academic experience in a real world environment, meet and learn from professionals in their field of interest, develop skills and competencies and build their network of contacts in hopes of increasing their hiring potential upon graduation.
