Come cheer on the women and men’s basketball teams this Saturday and honor the seniors on the teams.

WHERE: McCabe Gym
WHAT:
1) Come see both CUH women and men’s basketball games against cross-town rivals HPU 2) Be there after each game for brief court celebrations honoring Chaminade seniors after each game 3) Support Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) with its Make A Wish Foundation fundraiser garnered from admissions proceeds and concession sales

Everyone invited! The teams would really appreciate having a large crowd. Cheer them on with Go Swords spirit.  (BTW– men’s team is currently ranked 7th place (West Region).  A victory will help move them closer to a NCAA Regional tournament berth.

New! AND WE HAVE A WINNER
Angelique Showman
, B.S. Forensic Science ’06, who works in Chaminade’s Chemistry Department, has won an Alum Silversword Prize Pack.  She is the first of our Alumni On-Campus winners.  In December, Be-Jay Kodama, director of Alumni Relations, gave out 90 alumni license plate frames to alumni working on campus.  Campus alumni are encouraged to show their “Pride on the Ride.” During the next four weeks all leading up to the Alumni Reunion in April, there will be one weekly winner awarded to the “alumni” vehicle spotted by the Silversword Spotter. So get those frames on!

Ke Ali‘i Pauahi Foundation’s policy gives preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry
to the extent permitted by law.
WHAT:
Ke Ali‘i Pauahi Foundation administers scholarships that have been created by private donors.  They award scholarships supporting college level areas of study, as well as trade and vocational courses.  Awards may be determined based on merit, while some are restricted for those students who demonstrate a financial need or for students applying from specific geographic regions.

The program is for individuals in the United States diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who are pursuing higher education at a college, vocational school or technical school.
