New! FREE CAMPUS VIEWING OF PARTIAL ECLIPSE: Watch Moon Nibble Sun On Thursday, May 9
The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division will offer a free viewing of the partial eclipse of the sun, expected Thurs., May 9, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Science professors, Matt Cochran, Eric Dodson and Muge Karagoz will have an 11-inch telescope, equipped with solar filter, set up between Wiegand Observatory and Kieffer Hall. They will also be available to answer questions. Eclipse shades will be available for safe viewing. INTERIOR DESIGN PROGRAM WELCOMES PUBLIC TO ITS SENIOR PORTFOLIO POP UP GALLERY EXHIBITION–May 9 at Mark’s Garage
Graduating design students from Chaminade University’s Interior Design Program will showcase their work in the Senior Portfolio Pop Up Gallery on May 9, from 5 to 8 p.m., at The ARTS at Mark’s Garage in downtown Honolulu. Seniors Ji Yun Arakawa, Karen Cho, Bonnie Gao, Beth Mau and Serena Waddel will showcase their works, which encompasses a variety of projects including kitchen and bath designs, custom furniture designs, corporate space planning, residential space studies, restaurant and retail planning. This year Chaminade Interior Design students have worked on several exciting and important initiatives including the Wahiawa Urban Renewal project for the non-profit, Surfing the Nations; the L.
