New!    HONOLULU WEST OAHU MOBILE VETERAN CENTER ON CAMPUS

WHERE: Chaminade University, 3rd Road near Brogan Hall
WHEN: Wed., Sept. 25 & Oct. 23
WHAT: Mobile Veteran Center Oahu is one of 20 locations with a Mobile Vet Center (MVC). The MVC is a 4 wheel drive, Ford F550 with a Customized cab ordered by the VA’s Readjustment Counseling Services (RCS) to serve as an Outreach vehicle. The MVC is one of the initiatives that resulted from the VA’s Strategic Plan to ensure that Veterans and their family members are aware of their VA benefits and that they are taking full advantage of the multitude of VA programs.

ENVIRONMENTAL + INTERIOR DESIGN LOGO DESIGN CONTEST
EID is holding a Logo Design Contest to facilitate rebranding its program. EID students and faculty have submitted designs for a program logo.  The CUH community is invited to choose 10 finalists for the new design. The logo design submissions are on display on the first floor of Eiben Hall (mauka corridor) till Sept. 25. Please vote for your top 3 favorites.  Voting ends on Wed., Sept. 25. 

New!    ANNUAL NONPROFIT ONE-DAY SEMINAR
The Tenth Annual Nonprofit Organizations One-day Seminar, sponsored by Chaminade University, will take place on Fri., Sept. 27, from 7:45 a.m. (registration) to 5:15 p.m., at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. Registration fee is $160.00 per person if registering by August 31, 2013; thereafter is $185.00 per person.   Discount rates are being offered to HANO, HAIS, and HAPA members. Members should inquire with their respective organizations. New!    HAWAII SMALL BUSINESS FAIR
The Chaminade University School of Business and the Hogan Entrepreneurs program will host the 2013 Hawaii Small Business Fair “Launch Your Dreams into Reality” on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on campus in Henry Hall. Open to the public, admission and parking are free.  However, seating is limited. To reserve your seat, register by Oct. 4, at http://smallbizfair2013.eventbrite.com or call 945-1430.
