Chaminade’s School of Business will host this year’s annual community festival, which will be the 12th for the Hawai’i Forgiveness Project. Last year, the Project honored Queen Lili’uokalani, the last reigning monarch of Hawaii, as a model of peace, strength and forgiveness. This year’s theme will be Silence and Forgiveness: “In silence there is eloquence. Stop weaving, and see how the pattern improves (Rumi).” The event will be an opportunity to experience healing and forgiveness provided through silence from diverse traditions and perspectives including Native Hawaiian, Christian, Buddhist, as well as in dance and music.
