Congressman Mark Takai visited Chaminade University today.  He was greeted warmly by Chaminade leadership: Vaughn Vasconcellos (Regents chair), Bro. Bernard Ploeger, SM, PhD ( president) and Diane Peters-Nguyen ( Institutional Advancement vice-president). Joining them were recent graduate Aris Springs ’15 and students Alaina Caberos and Patrick White.  Springs, who is from Agana, Guam graduated this past May with a double major in Criminal Justice and History/Political Science.  Patrick White, a graduate of Pearl City High School, is a junior with a double major in Criminal Justice and English.  Alaina, a graduate of Kalani High School, is working for her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) and is also a junior.  Rod Tanonaka, Chief of Staff for the congressman, also attended.
