Opportunities for Chaminade University students seeking a career in dentistry have been significantly expanded with the signing of an Early Assurance Program Agreement with Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Through the Early Assurance Agreement, Chaminade students who complete prerequisite courses and examinations and follow a program of advising and co-curricular activities directed by the Chaminade Office of Health Professions Advising may apply for admission in the spring of their sophomore year.  Subject to successful interviews, Tufts will reserve seats for qualified Chaminade applicants.

Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is a nationally prominent dental school located in Boston, Massachusetts.

The agreement between Chaminade and Tufts was signed by President Anthony Monaco of Tufts and President Bernard Ploeger, S.M. of Chaminade on September 29, at the main campus of Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.  Also present for Chaminade was associate provost and the director of its Office of Health Professions Advising, Patricia Lee-Robinson.
