Chaminade University presents its annual Black History Month and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m., in the Mystical Rose Oratory on campus, 3140 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96816.  Free and open to the public, the event features Chaminade English professor and poet, Allison E. (Francis) Paynter, PhD, the Hawaii Vocal Arts Ensemble and the Chaminade University Chorus.  The music will feature August Wilson Celebration: Men of Chain Gang, spirituals, gospel and poetry. Music director is Chaminade music professor, Timothy Carney, PhD.
