The Performing Arts Department of Chaminade University will present the Hawaii premiere of the musical comedy First Date, book by Austin Winsberg and music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner at Mamiya Theater, 3140 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96816. Show dates and times are April 15, 16, 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. and on April 17 and 24 at 4 p.m.

First Date made its world premiere during 2012 at Seattle’s ACT Theatre in a 5th Avenue Theatre co-production and then made its Broadway debut August 8, 2013 at the Longacre Theatre. The musical takes its comedic tone from the jeopardies of a blind date. It has been called spunky, sassy, and hilarious by reviewers. Be sure to get your tickets early.  Directed by Bro. Gary Morris, SM, the musical comedy has a limited run. Be one of the first to see it in Hawaii!
