“Does death really mean the end of our existence?”
That’s the opening line of web magazine AAAS Science’s article:  “Undead’ genes come alive days after life ends” by Mitch Leslie (Jun. 22, 2016 ). The article included an interview with Chaminade’s Forensic Sciences director David O. Carter, PhD.

In addition,  Current Biology  released its special issue on the Biology of Death, which explores the many  aspects of death.  Dr. Carter made a significant contribution with the “Microbiology of death — Quick guide” by Jessica L. Metcalf, David O. Carter and Rob Knight.

“This article was meant for a broad audience. It has a prepared  Q&A for people that want to know what happens after death. Everyone should read it,” said Dr. Carter.
