Love. Fall in love and stay in love. Write only what you love, and love what you write. The key word is love. You have to get up in the morning and write something you love, something to live for. – Ray Bradbury

ROCK THE VOTE

Register to Vote with Chaminade Student Programming Board and Chaminade Student Government.

“All you need to do is show up and fill out the form and we will mail the already sealed-envelope with your form for you.”

- The event will be held on: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- On these dates: October 1, October 3, and October 5
- During the lunch hour from: 12:30pm – 1:20pm
- In the: Vi and Paul Loo Student Center at Chaminade

It’s that time of year again! Elections. Students all around campus are buzzing about the elections. Everybody is talking about the up-coming elections and “who are you voting for”? However, hardly anyone is registered to vote. When I asked students why they didn’t register or have not registered to vote, some simply say “It’s such a hassle to go out and register.” Some people give reasons that they work and go to school, some mention that they don’t know how to register, and others just never wanted to take the initiative to do so.

So our student government Programming Board is hosting a ROCK THE VOTE WEEK to give those students who don’t have time a chance to register, teach some of the other students how to register, and give those students who need a little push to come out and REGISTER TO VOTE. This is our home, and we should have a say in who influences our rights and regulations. We should gain control by taking control to VOTE!
